1) A daguerreotype is a direct-positive process, creating a highly detailed image on a sheet of copper plate with a small coat of silver without the use of a negative. The surface if a daguerreotype resembles a mirror.
2) An "Albumen" print is a smooth, shiny surface, which is the result of a coating of egg whites. The main ingredient is is egg whites. It only lasted from the 1850s to the end of the century.
3)A stereograph is two seperate images that can be viewed as a 3d image with a stereoscope which is the viewing device. They were popular in the 1800s.
